i7OS for AI assistants

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants straight to your i7OS workspace. They answer questions about your tasks, notes, documents, brands and moodboards, and they create tasks, notes and documents when you ask them to.

The connection uses MCP, an open standard. There is nothing to install.

The server

https://mcp.i7os.com/mcp

One server for every assistant. Set it up once and it behaves the same everywhere.

Connecting

With your i7OS account (recommended)

Add the address above as a custom connector in your assistant and choose OAuth. A window from i7OS opens, you sign in, and you confirm once what the agent may do. Nothing is copied by hand, and you can withdraw the access at any time under Settings → AI & Models → Access for agents.

With a key

If your assistant cannot do OAuth, create a key under Settings → AI & Models → Access for agents → Create key and set it as a bearer token. The key is shown exactly once. We store its fingerprint, never the key itself, so nobody can read it back out, including us.

What an agent may see

Exactly what you see, and not one step further.

Access is yours personally, not a workspace's, and it reaches across every workspace you are a member of. A document set to private stays private. A workspace you are not in stays invisible. That is not decided by the agent, and not by our server code either, but by the same access rule in the database that governs the app itself.

Publishing is the one thing that cannot be undone. An agent can publish on the channels your workspace has connected. That tool is marked as destructive, so assistants ask before they use it. Everything else either reads, or only ever adds something new: no tool changes or deletes anything that already exists.

The tools

ToolWhat it does
list_workspacesYour workspaces
list_tasksTasks in a workspace, with column, priority, due date and project
create_taskCreate a task
list_notesYour notes, optionally filtered by a search term
create_noteCreate a note
list_projectsThe projects in a workspace
search_documentsSearch documents by title and content
read_documentA document in full
create_documentCreate a document, content as Markdown
get_brandThe brand: name, claim, tone of voice, values, vision, colours
list_moodboardsThe moodboards with image count and colours
get_moodboardOne moodboard with its images, notes and tags
save_imageSave an image to Assets, for instance one you just generated
list_channelsThe connected social channels
create_postPublish or schedule a post

get_brand also takes a project name. If a project has its own brand area, you get that brand rather than your agency's.

What you can ask

Withdrawing access

Under Settings → AI & Models → Access for agents every connection and every key has a Disconnect next to it. From that moment it stops working, immediately. Revoking one and setting up a new one costs nothing, so if you are unsure whether an old key is still lying around somewhere, revoke it.

Data

An agent reads your workspace data only while answering your request, and we pass nothing to third parties for it. What we store and for how long is in the privacy policy. The terms apply as they do to the rest of i7OS.
